Culture

The cultural subjects include geography and history, allowing an opportunity to learn about the world while developing research skills. Children in the 6-9 and 9-12 programs study the continents of the world and develop an appreciation of other people and their uniqueness.

In-depth studies of different cultures take place each year and are often integrated with other areas of study such as foreign language, art, music and drama. Cultural studies are often enhanced by field trips.

History lessons begin with children telling the personal stories of their lives, allowing them to understand their individual places in time. The history curriculum begins with how our planet originated and progresses through modern times.
